    Hybrid Learning Design to Minimize Academic Stress of Digital Natives’ Generation in Accounting Course

    The digital natives generation (DNG) tends to experience relatively high academic stress if the learning design does not pay attention to its characteristics and culture. This study aims to develop a prototype of a hybrid learning model to minimise such stress amongst prospective accounting teachers. This hybrid learning design combines face to face and online learning using the Design-Based Research (DBR) method with stages of problem analysis when learning, and the development of solutions based on principles and theory. Questionnaires, interviews, FGDs and literature studies were used to collect data which were analysed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The study found that the DNG experiences relatively high academic stress in the accounting context, so it is necessary to develop a prototype of a flipped classroom-type hybrid learning model by considering its learning style and academic culture and based on the sociocultural revolution theory. This hybrid learning design remains to be tested in further research for its feasibility and effectiveness in minimising DNG academic stress

    Pada abad 21 sekarang ini, pendidikan tidak lagi menjadi hal yang dikesampingkan oleh warga negara Indonesia. Pendidikan bahkan menjadi salah satu prioritas utama warga negara Indonesia untuk mendapatkan kehidupan yang lebih baik. Kemajuan suatu bangsa tercemin dari kualitas pendidikan bangsa itu sendiri. Generasi muda dianggap dapat menjadi ujung tombak, dikarenakan mereka dapat menjadi sosok yang kreatif, inovatif, dan bertanggung jawab yang mampu bersaing di abad 21 ini yang siap menyongsong masa depan cerah melalui pendidikan. Akhir-akhir ini, inovasi dalam dunia pendidikan sedang gencar dilakukan. Salah satunya adalah melalui inovasi pengembangan dalam media pembelajaran. Inovasi pengembangan media pembelajaran dilakukan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, selain itu dapat tercipta iklim pembelajaran yang menyenangkan sehingga meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa, terutama dalam pembelajaran akuntansi yang membutuhkan tingkat pemahaman dan analisa yang tajam. Komik merupakan salah satu inovasi atau pembaharuan media pembelajaran. Kini komik tidak lagi hanya sebagai bacaan tetapi juga mulai merambah menjadi komik pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kontribusi penggunaan komik terhadap pembelajaran akuntansi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur, dan menggunakan data sekunder dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa komik memiliki kontribusi dan dapat diaplikasikan dalam proses pembelajaran akuntansi yang memerlukan penalaran dan analisis tinggi

    Dampak Sertifikasi Guru terhadap Peningkatan Kualitas Pembelajaran Peserta Didik

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji dampak sertifikasi guru terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran. Secara lebih rinci tujuan tersebut diuraikan sebagai berikut : 1) mengkaji kondisi akademik guru yang telah mendapatkan sertifikat pendidik, khususnya implementasi kompetensi pedagogik dan profesi mereka dalam kaitannya dengan proses pembelajaran, 2) upaya guru untuk mempertahankan sertifikat pendidik yang telah dimiliki, khususnya dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional, dan 3) dampak sertifikasi guru terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran di kelas. Penelitian yang mengambil lokasi di eks Karesidenan Surakarta ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed method dengan memanfaatkan hasil penelitian kualitatif untuk mendisain pendekatan kuantitatifnya. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling untuk pendekatan kuantitatif, sedangkan criterion-based selection digunakan pada saat melakukan penelitian kualitatif. Informan dan sampel yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini adalah 96 orang guru bersertifikasi, 74 guru yang belum bersertifikasi dan 17 kepala sekolah serta 424 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara mendalam (in-depth interview), observasi, dokumentasi dan kuesioner. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis interaktif dan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: 1) hanya 37% dari guru bersertifikasi yang dapat menyampaikan materi dengan jelas, kemampuan pemanfaatan media dan teknologi pembelajaran, kemampuan mengikuti perkembangan iptek dan inovasi pembelajaran serta pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan masih perlu ditingkatkan; 2) diskusi antar sejawat yang mengampu mata pelajaran sama merupakan upaya yang paling diminati untuk mempertahankan profesionalitasnya; 3) guru bersertifikasi belum menunjukkan peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran di kelas secara signifikan. Hal ini antara lain diindikasikan oleh kemampuan menjelaskan materi yang masih kurang, masih kurangnya kemampuan memanfaatkan teknologi pembelajaran (sekitar 25% dinyatakan kurang sampai cukup) dan 20% guru berindikasi kurang memperhatikan keadaan siswa secara individual. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi kepada pemerintah daerah dalam mengembangkan keprofesian berkelanjutan (continuing professional development), bagi para guru pasca sertifikasi dan bahan pertimbangan bagi pemerintah pusat dalam mengembangkan kebijakan yang terkait dengan kesejahteraan guru Indonesia

    Evaluation of the 2013 Curriculum Implementation for Physical Education Learning in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, Wonogiri District Year 2019/2020

    The purpose of this study is to determine (1) the condition of students in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum. (2) The condition of teachers who teach in implementing the 2013 curriculum. (3) The conditions of facilities and infrastructure in implementing the 2013 curriculum. (4) Understanding of sports teachers towards 2013 curriculum. (5) Learning planning prepared by the teacher in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum. (6) Implementation of sports learning activities in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum (7) Implementation of sports assessments in curriculum implementation. And (8) The results of authentic assessment which include aspects of attitudes, knowledge, and skills in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum for class IV Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Wonogiri District for the 2019/2020 school year. This study uses the curriculum evaluation method by the Stake's Countenance Model Evaluation Model. The use of this kind of evaluation model based on making judgments about the program being evaluated as well as easy to categorize data based on three stages antecedent, transaction, and outcomes. As for technique of collecting data uses evaluative technique by using techniques of inquiry, observation, and documentation. From the research results, it can be concluded that: 1. Antecedent stage (Introduction) (a). The condition of students, seen from the aspect of readiness to take part in lessons and activeness during learning, was not fully yet in accordance with the standard with a percentage of 51.88% and in the sufficient category (b). The condition of the teacher, seen from the aspects of academic qualifications, pedagogic competence, personal competence, social competence, and professional competence, is not fully in accordance with the standard with a percentage of 54.5%, and is in the sufficient category (c). The condition of the facilities and infrastructure, seen from the classrooms and their accessories, the library room, and the props / media in the laboratory are categorized as sufficient with a percentage of 60% (d). The teacher's understanding of the curriculum was not fully in accordance with the standard with a percentage of 54.5% (e). The condition of the lesson planning was not fully in accordance with the standard with a percentage of 72.7%, but it was in the good category. 2. Phase transaction. (A). The implementation of scientific-based integrative thematic learning is in a good category with a percentage of 72.7%. (B). The implementation of authentic assessment has not been fully in accordance with the standard with a percentage of 54.5% and in the sufficient category. (3). Outcomes stage is the result of authentic assessment that has met the standard and is very good category with a percentage of 100%

    Students’ mathematical literacy skill in term of gender differences: A comparative study

    The emergence of the 21st century requires the younger generation to be able to face increasingly fierce global competition. One of the skills needed by the younger generation in this century is mathematical literacy. This ability needs to be improved in learning at school. One important factor that must be considered in learning mathematics literacy is gender differences. Therefore, this study aims to identify students' literacy abilities and find out the differences between male and female students at Madiun State Middle School. This research uses a quantitative approach in the form of a comparative study. The research sample of 336 students was analyzed using descriptive analysis and the Mann-Whitney test. The results of the study concluded that the ability of female students’ mathematical literacy was much higher than that of male students. Female students excel in terms of representation, modeling, mathematical communication, and problem posing and solving skills. Meanwhile, male students excel in terms of using math symbols and mathematical thinking and reasoning

    The Development Of Natural Potential Of Ponggok Village As Recreational Sports And Water Sports Tourism For Regional People In Klaten Regency

    The main objective of this research is to explain the management of the natural potential of Ponggok Village Klaten, describe the development of recreational sports and water sports tourism in Ponggok Village Klaten, and explain the role of Ponggok Village to support tourism development in Klaten Regency. This research is conducted in Ponggok Village, Klaten Regency, Central Java Province, using qualitative research and phenomenology approach. The data collection techniques used in this study are observation, deep interviews, and documentation. The results of the research are summarized as follows: 1) The natural potential of Ponggok Village Klaten are in the agricultural sector and water sector, that is supported by springs or usually known as umbuls. In the agricultural sector, people mostly plant rice. Meanwhile, the springs are used for fishery and tourism. In the fishery sector, there are several freshwater fish farming ponds. The tourism sector in Ponggok Village utilizes several umbuls including Umbul Ponggok, Umbul Ponggok Ciblon, Umbul Kapilaler, Umbul Sigedang, and Umbul Besuki. Most of the umbuls in Ponggok Village are used for recreational sports, such as swimming. Umbul Ponggok is also used for swimming, diving, and snorkeling. 2) The development of recreational sports and water sports tourism in Umbul Ponggok that was only used for swimming by visitors around Ponggok Village, now is even more developing. There are some more facilities such as rental mask snorkels and buoys for snorkeling, scuba set for diving, and Ponggok Walker for walking under water. There is also Ponggok Warior as mini outbound on water for children. Besides, there is a slide for stimulating adrenaline which is directly connected to the umbul. In Umbul Ponggok Ciblon, there are three swimming pools and parks that can be used for outbound activities. People also often use ponds in Umbul Ponggok Ciblon to swim, usually in the afternoon. In Umbul Kapilaler that is surrounded by big trees, visitors usually come to swim and play with water. 3) Ponggok Village is already quite popular among the President, the Ministers, the House of Representative members etc. The delegation of 20 countries of The Asian Productivity Organization (APO) also visit Ponggok Village. The Minister of Rural Development Malaysia also come to Ponggok Village and made 10 Village Heads of Malaysia wanted to take a closer look at Ponggok Village. Ponggok village certainly brings the name of Klaten Regency well known domestically and internationally. Ponggok has the potential that might be here only. People can enjoy the beauty and take pictures under fresh water. The water is very clear; it is hard to find elsewhere. Ponggok Village has its own uniqueness as a tourist attraction

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kombinasi media pembelajaran (Microsoft PowerPoint dan Ulead Video Studio) terhadap minat belajar mahasiswa pada perkuliahan Teknologi Pembelajaran Akuntansi. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester IV Pendidikan Ekonomi BKK Pendidikan Akuntansi yang sedang mengikuti mata kuliah Teknologi Pembelajaran Akuntansi. Dalam penelitian ini, teknik pengambilan sampel yang dipilih adalah Nonprobability Sampling dengan Teknik Sampling Jenuh. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang berasal dari angket yang disebarkan oleh peneliti kepada mahasiswa sebagai responden pada akhir perkuliahan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen, metode uji statistik yang digunakan adalah Uji-T dengan melakukan uji persyaratan analisis terlebih dahulu.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan kombinasi media pembelajaran terhadap minat belajar mahasiswa. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan melalui perhitungan Uji-T yang menghasilkan nilai t hitung sebesar 2,040 yang melebihi nilai t tabel sebesar 1,998 dan P-Value sebesar 0,045 lebih kecil dari taraf signifikansi yang telah ditentukan yaitu sebesar 0,05.Kata Kunci: Kombinasi Media Pembelajaran, Minat Belajar ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is to know the effect of learning media combination (Microsoft PowerPoint and Ulead Video Studio) toward students interest in learning on Teknologi Pembelajaran Akuntansi course. The data that used is primary data which come from distributed questionnaries by researcher to students as respondents when the course ends. This research is quantitative research using experimental methods, statistical methods which used is T-Test with the test requirements prior analysis.The research result shows that learning media combination has effect to students interest in learning. It is shown by t0 = 2,040 which exceed the value of its critical value for 1,998 and P-Value for 0,045 smaller than a predetermined significance level for 0,05.
